Royce Gracie to Face Matt Hughes At UFC 112 In Abu Dhabi.
UFC President Dana White admits late last week that a Matt Hughes-Renzo Gracie bout was a possibility in the upcoming year, the veteran Hughes confirmed it on the fighters website.
According to Hughes, the card slated for April 10, 2010 will take place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and will see the 42-year-old Gracie step into the octagon against Hughes, who is six years younger than Gracie.
"I didn't know if I could say anything about my next fight, but I see that Dana has let the cat out of the bag," wrote Hughes on the fighters website. "So I can tell you I know, on April 10 I will be fighting Renzo Gracie in Abu Dhabi. I haven't signed any paperwork and I don't think Renzo has either, but I think this fight is going to happen."
The fight card will be loaded with many other great matchups and tickets will be going fast for this rematch.
